OMG I just watched the live action movie of phoenix wright , THE phoenix wright at the Rotterdam film festival
( thanks for recommending it.... you happy now? XD)

IT was BRILLIANT , the characters were done perfectly, both acting as in costume, the story was exciting and goofy as the game and the effects were pretty neat as well AND IT WAS SO DAMN FUNNY

and it was understandable for the people who didn't play the game.

score 15 out of 10 especially because it was a japanese live action film which usually kind of suck (but here the strange, kind of over-the-top acting that is normal in japanese movies fitted perfectly because the whole movie was just lighthearted and goofy)

oh and kudos to the people of the subtitles, they kept all the names of the western translation of the games!

so yeah um go see it now XD
